What is Massage?
Massage therapy is defined as the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints.  It can be used to treat chronic conditions resulting from overuse or strain or to address physical issues resulting from an injury or trauma to a specific part of the body.  Massage is useful for people of all ages, both children and adults.
These are the scientific facts, but in truth massage is so much more....
Massage has a direct impact on all of the physical systems, most notably the nervous, circulatory, lymphatic and musculoskeletal. Hence massage is not only a relaxing and rejuvenating activity, it also has significant proven health benefits.
