I am a Level 4 qualified Massage Therapist, trained through BCMB (Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork), registered with the Massage Training Insitute (MTI) and a member of Zero Balancing UK (ZBUK).
I have great enthusiasm for bodywork, both for its therapeutic and for its holistic purposes. I believe firmly in the power of the body and mind to heal itself and am honoured to be able to assist this process.
My initial interest began with the skeleton, which led me to Zero Balancing and much research on spinal issues and the human structure. I soon realised, however, that it is the muscles which move the bones and so my training moved on to massage and a deeper interest in the relationship between the two. My understanding of this relationship only grows as I continue my learning and further my practice.
Used to movement of the body, I have spent the past 15 years working in the orchards of Herefordshire as a fruit tree pruner and involved in harvest management.
Prior to that, I explored the world, crossing much of the globe as a solo female traveller. An academic at heart, I hold a degree in English Literature and Art.
